Be Stiff (2 track single)[]
- 7" in black vinyl, yellow vinyl or clear vinyl, with picture sleeve or custom black bag.
- This single features the original image of Chi-Chi Rodríguez, rather than the altered one that appeared later on Q/A.
The cover art includes the song title "Be Stiff" on the front and "Social Fools" on the back. - “Chi-Chi, bigger than life, and a real human. He inspired our debut album graphics, and he taught me how to putt.” — Jerry Casale (2024)[1]
- The Be Stiff / Social Fools 7" single did not have a prior Booji Boy release.
- This “Be Stiff” track was recorded at Connie Plank’s studio in Germany, in February of 1978.
It was produced by Brian Eno [with some help from DEVO]. - This "Social Fools" track was recorded and produced by DEVO in July of 1978 when DEVO had returned to Ohio.
B Stiff (6 track EP)[]

- 12" exists in versions with and without pauses between songs.
- The 12", six track EP is a compilation of the three DEVO singles Stiff distributed.
- This cover art was by Barney Bubbles (Colin Fulcher). (The art includes the EP title, "B Stiff," printed in very small type under the second egg.)
