Live In Central Park is a concert film showcasing DEVO and was aired as part of the television series Live! from Central Park SummerStage. This film has not been made available for physical distribution, apart from several bootleg recordings that emerged from the original broadcast.[1]
A limited edition live album was subsequently available to any fans, providing them with a unique audio experience of the event. The burn on demand CD was not immediately available to attending ticket holders "due to heavy rains in New York City after this outdoor concert."[2]
This 2004 Devolution Is Real Tour date is also notable as the first DEVO concert to feature Booji Boy since their 1997 Lollapalooza Tour.

HAFFENREFFER: We talk about deevolution as you look at society, and maybe even the world today. Does it apply perhaps more today than any other time?
CASALE: Absolutely. I mean, all kidding aside, it`s become hideously real. Like what we talked about almost as a kind of philosophy with humor has become true. De-evolution is real. I think everybody watching today would agree that they can`t even believe the world they live in now.
